Secure online shopping at Printshirts.co.uk
Print Shirts takes your online security extremely seriously.
When you shop online at Printshirts.co.uk, as soon as you access the ‘Checkout’ , ‘Account’ , ‘Login’ or ‘Register’ pages, and before you enter any personal or payment details, your browser will go into secure mode.
To check if you are in secure mode, look for a padlock icon on the bottom-right of your browser window, or your address bar. This verifies the site is secure.
All of your details are encrypted in secure mode, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet. If you are using one of the more recent browser versions, our site supports 128 bit encryption, thereby keeping your details as safe as possible.
Printshirts.co.uk only accepts orders placed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology prevents you from inadvertently revealing personal information using an insecure connection. During payment, we also ask for your card signature code and billing address as additional security checks.
Printshirts.co.uk will encrypt and store your card details for purposes of payment and refunds. You can choose to save your details for future transactions if you wish. This information is inaccessible to anyone from Brook Hi Vis.
Online Security – Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Provided by Comodo®
Comodo is Creating Trust Online® because none of us can realize the full potential of the Internet unless it’s a trusted place to interact and conduct business. Our dependence on computers and the Internet grows with each passing day, and so, too, does our vulnerability. Comodo SSL provides a safe and secure environment.
Online Security – Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode
Printshirts.co.uk is now participating in Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for added online payment security. These services are offered by Visa and MasterCard, in association with the bank that has issued your credit/debit card. It is aimed at protecting your details when shopping online by ensuring that your card is not being used by someone else.
If the credit / debit card you are using to pay for your order qualifies for one of these services you will be taken to a page hosted by your card issuer. This is a completely secure process. The information you provide is only visible to you and your card issuer, and will never be shared with other parties.
If you haven’t registered before and your card qualifies, you will need to follow the on-screen instructions to register securely and create a password for your card. This is not the same as the PIN number you use for your regular shopping. It’s an online shopping code that you’ll be able to use to identify yourself and your card when shopping at Printshirts.co.uk. It’s basically the online equivalent of chip & pin which is used on the high-street.
A password will be required on future transactions if you have previously registered.
If you’re unsure about this new service you may be able to complete your order without registering. However, we recommend that you contact your card issuer to find out more. They will eventually require you to register to continue shopping online.
Keeping your personal details safe
We recommend that you always close down your Internet browser when you have finished shopping online, especially if you use a shared PC. Doing so will delete temporary Internet cookies from any sites that you have visited.
If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Print Shirts and including a request for your financial information, DO NOT CLICK on any part of it or open any attached documents. In this instance, please contact us.
We will never ask for your pin in an online transaction. Never reveal your PIN to anyone, in person or online.
Online Security – How does your browser protect you and your data?
Most modern web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari, support ‘secure mode’ and standard security protocols.
Online security is constantly evolving, so we recommend you update your browser to the latest version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari (if you are using an older version) in order to take full advantage of any improved security features.
